The Haven at Terre de Vie

The Terre de Vie Haven is a furnished month-to-month 3 bedroom rental in the Sierra foothills, custom built for families recovering from mold illness, CIRS, Lyme disease, PANS, and MCAS.

Why Terre de Vie?

This isn't just a lucky tract house with a one-time acceptable ERMI.  The Haven at Terre de Vie was custom built by Building Biologist Jen Jobart of Practical Healthy Homes and her husband Alain. Their family recovered from PANS, Lyme, and Mold illness while living there. Now they're offering it you. Everything about this home exists for one reason: to give you clean indoor and outdoor air, pure water, quiet EMR levels, and a home where you can heal, too.

Built for health. The Haven at Terre de Vie was constructed from the ground up to exacting healthy-building standards — built tight, insulated right, ventilated right, low levels of mold, biologicals, and VOC, and low ambient EMR.

Strict rules, on purpose. No contaminated belongings,  scented cleaners, or nighttime wireless devices allowed. If that sounds like just the place you've been looking for, keep reading.  If it's too much, we won't be offended if you find another place.

A soft landing, not a forever decision. The month-to-month lease means you can find out if this environment works for you before committing to a long lease. It's completely furnished, so you can shut the door on your moldy house and walk into a clean environment.

Clean outdoor air. It's not just about the home - it's the surroundings, too. With a nod to our French heritage, "Terre de Vie" means both "Land that gives life" and "Healthy soil". The two are intertwined.  We started with clean bare land, and use healthy permaculture and Building Biology practices to keep it that way.
